Viewing Code

If you would like to view the code in a module, right-click on the module and select View from the context menu. VbaDiff will place the code in a new window, which we like to call the VEdits window.

The VEdits window is a convenient way to view your VBA code without having to enter your password or open Microsoft Office.

The VEdits windows uses syntax highlighting to highlight keywords and comments.

The VEdits Window for Viewing Code
The VEdits Window shows code without Microsoft Office or your password.

The code in this window is fully selectable, so you can copy and paste it to other applications such as Microsoft Word. This can be a good mechanism for printing highlighted code, as printing from the Visual Basic Editor is always in black and white only.
